Scarlet's heart raced as she crept toward the back door, the moonlight spilling in through the glass. She had heard whispers, dark murmurs of things that belonged to nightmares. Deimos's gaze haunted her, a possessive shadow that wrapped around her mind. She needed to escape.

A mix of fury and desperation: "You think you can run from us? You're ours!"

Her breath caught in her throat as she stumbled, falling to her knees. She looked back, and in the distance, she saw him, a dark figure standing still, twisted emotions swirling around him like a storm.

Deimos hissed: "You have no idea what 'free' means,"

His voice low and dangerous: "You will learn."

Scarlet's hope crumbled as she felt a presence behind her, a cold hand gripping her shoulder. Zyran growled, pulling her back into the darkness: "Time to go back home, Darling"
