The Diaz brothers watched Ezra laying in the ICU room of the hospital fighting between life and death. They are feeling so helpless and scared just like they did a years ago when Ezra was bullied at school and got hospitalised for months. They were feeling so helpless that they couldn't protect their brothers. They felt scared of never being able to hear the voice of their brother, scared of not being able feel those soft hands holding their when Ezra got scared of something, scared of not being able to shower their brother brother with love and care.

Nyx was sitting on the chair with Vito's head lying in his lap and the tears pouring out of Vito's eyes soaking in Nyx pants. Klaus was holding on another chair holding his head in his hands tugging his from time to time frustration as the doctors said that If Ezra didn't respond to the medicines than they will have to put him down and end his life. Because he isn't willing to live, he isn't responding to the medicines.
